We've arrived to Little Rock - August/September, 2008

We're now in Little Rock. Below are pictures of the first day of school at the kids' new school in Little Rock!

We left Chapel Hill (sniff, sniff) in mid August and started our drive towards Little Rock. On our way there, we stopped at the Smokey Mountains and stayed there for almost a week. As you can see from the pictures below, it was a wonderful family vacation and we enjoyed many beautiful hikes and outdoor adventures.

Below the kids' decided to make a beaver dam for their little Playmobile beavers.

June/July 2008

In mid June, we had a "retreat" in Roanoke, Virgina with our wonderful playgroup (we all went to visit Jonah and his family there). Here is a picture of the "play-group kids."

At the end of June, we got on a plane and headed towards Little Rock, AR - our future home. We went to go look at home, neighborhoods, and schools for the kids.
